Digital Media for the Bilingual/ELL Classroom Workshop Overview

Participants will:

    - Understand how digital media can be used to improve student learning

    - Find web resources that can be used in the classroom

    - Begin to develop a class wiki to be used for classroom publishing

    - Produce and publish a web video and podcast

 

Course Completion

To complete the course, receive credit and payment (and be elegible to win a digital camera) participants will:

1. Attend two training days

2.  Begin to develop a class wiki to be used for classroom publishing
3.  Create and publish a web video
4. Actively participate in course activities by:
- providing feedback to other course participants through comments on wikis
- adding content to the course wiki

5. Complete all course activities, including:

- reading articles

- viewing videos

- responding to questions on the wiki
